Library Day
Today I woke up, then I got a text message from Tina saying that she was at the library. She told me too come to. So then I got ready and got there. Tina got a whole bunch of CDs out. I told her about my English class. She’s taking English151 as well except with a different professor. I thought about changing sections because I have so many classes on Monday, I was thinking about changing my English class but there was no sections open that worked 
We then got out of the library and went to the Green Market just by the library. I bought a spinach & ham sandwich.. I didn’t know there was spinach in it til’ I ate it! Then we went to Tina’s house, on the way going there we saw a place where a homeless person slept, there was pillows and clothes all around a book and even a half eaten banana .. first I thought it was just garbage! I don’t know why but it made me sad. Then we got to Tina’s and she showed me pictures from our 8th grade prom. Oh my god, I really hated the way I looked back then lol! Then we ate lunch! Rice & Broccoli 
She also gave me this homemade mango juice mixed with other fruits drink it tasted really good! It was really sweet though. Then we went to bus stop to go to CSI after we got off we swam swam swam (yes in the air, where there’s no water) to the library! Then we both did our English homeworks. I finished mine pretty quickly since I already had a rough draft. Then we waited for Terssa and Tisha to finish class. Terssa finished first and then she came to the library, she was reading her COR book and then by the time Tisha came I had to go home. Then my mom and dad came picked me up and then I came home and showed my dad this website I found on Tumblr about teaching abroad. http://www.teachabroad.com/ All you have to do is take a TEFL course and then you can teach kids English in any country of your liking while also learning a new culture and language. It’s really cool. I wanna do this really soon. I just want to first save money to do it. I think I should so this right after college or the summer of the year before. My dad suggested that I should do it in France, Switzerland or China. I want to go to more than one country one third world county and one European one. I’m not sure which just yet though. They also have abroad internships and volunteer work along with the study abroad programs & teaching abroad programs here -> http://www.goabroad.com/ for anyone else interested. I think the teaching one is the most appealing to me because you get to help others learn english, you also get paid (which is a bonus!) and it’s like vacationing and learning about the different cultures at the same time!

Last night, I watched the movie ‘Freedom Writers’. The movie takes place from 1992-1995 in Long Beach, Cali and is about a new teacher who goes to a high school where all the kids are segregated and who have very troubled lives. One day in her class there was a racist drawing going around and she tries to explain what happens when people get extremely racist and teaches them about the Holocaust (which almost none of them knew about). She wanted to get the book ‘The Diary of Anne Frank’ for her class to read but the dept. head would not let her have new books. She ends up buying the books herself for the kids and gets two jobs as well. She then buys her class a bunch of notebooks and tells them to write a journal entry day everyday about what goes on in their life. She invites several Holocaust survivors to talk with her class about their experiences and takes them on a field trip to the Museum of Tolerance. In the following year the kids hold a fundraiser to get Miep Gies to come talk to them. In the end of the movie she puts everyone’s journals together and called it the Freedom Writers’ Diary. I really loved the movie, one of the best I’ve seen in a long time. I ended up going to sleep at 1am, but it was really worth it.

Today, I woke up and my stomach kept hurting so I couldn’t go to the temple, then I started to make the layout header and gallery theme for SuriyaOnline and finished by lunch time Then my momma came back from the temple and I ate the temple food she brought home it was mmm mmm good! But then I got cramps It was hurting so bad! I decided to go make some wallpapers for GeneliaFans so I could keep myself busy. I ended up making 10 wallpapers. They weren’t my best work but that’s okay I liked the way they came out Then I have a whle bunch of screencaps from Genelia’s movies that never bothered to upload so I uploaded some of them today from ‘Happy’. I’m also listening to the same playlist the whole day, consisting of Ke$ha, B.o.B, V.V Brown, Cali Swag District to a whole buncha Tamil music. Yeap that’s pretty much my whole day.. oh wait I also tumblr-ed for a couple of hours :S As you can see I have like no life
